the registered bee population of the uk has fallen between 10 and 15%
no-one appears to know how serious this is, or even whether it is.*

but i can't help wondering how a bee registers...

My guess is that beekeepers are bringing in illegal bees from Other Countries, who will work for next to nothing, spoiling the market for good English bees. And of course the Government just sits there and does nothing. I'm appaled. Appalled, I say!
