either two more scaffolding+planking bridges - or one, split in two lengthways by - the steel structure of the original bridge, that is, at about the height of the tops of the main sides and outboard of 'em.

this is beginning to look a little like overkill.

fwiw, the main load-bearing sections of scaffolding components each consists of two main steel tubes connected by warren bracing - if it weren't for the possibility of the shackles loosening with time & use, or removal by sundry idiots, all these temporary bridges wouldn't be much more temporary than the original.
