it's been a perfect late autumn day...

11/30/14 06:52 pm - it's been a perfect late autumn day...

...the sort of day there ought to be many more of, and there ought to be a friend or several nearby to share it with, or near enough by to share enthusing about it by phone, or perhaps by feet noting it on lj - i got some photos, so i'll try to find these dates card-reader & usbcable, to hopefully upload a picture or three to the scrapbook tomorrow... the light's been incredible, the clarity of the air likewise, and some of the views spectacularly "superb late autumn in the lake district/english north-wet fells. hope it's like this again towards the middle'n'end of next week. and the week after - two rl friends variously visiting, or back up to be with their family over xmas/hogswatch, who really ought to get to share in this...

(one card-reader found: it's the one that wants/needs a power supply, if only from a usb socket - iirc it does work as a reader without the wallwart. otoh, its mini/micro usb socket, its dc input socket and- V-unspecified on the thing - and its two full-sized usb 2.0 sockets're clogged up with what could be early palaeolithic cadbury's fruit & nut raisins or sultanas, and a little fossilised cadbury's chocolate - i shouldn't care to be too definite about the substance, though... the original full-sized usb plug-to-mini or micro usb socket lead is visually fine, always a positive sign. i wonder where the non-hub, little black card-reader's got itself to... hmm...) (and the finepix snapshot camera's got a mini/micro usb plug-to-minisomething lead in its box, too... this is all seeming more do-able, now i'm thinking a bit more clearly - thank-you press twice-whilst-breathing-in-through-the-nostril-it's-in,-then-repeat-with-other-nostril-stuff.)
